THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTING A NATIONAL TRAUMA SERVICE IN SRI LANKA (PROJECT BEAP) DELIVERS 82 BEDS AND MATTRESSES AND 2 PATIENT TROLLEYS SOURCED BY THE ROTARY CLUB OF STRATHMORE IN VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA.

AS PART OF THE PLAN TO DELIVER HEALTHCARE RELIEF TO THE PEOPLE OF THE EASTERN PROVINCE OF SRI LANKA; SPECIFICALLY THE TEACHING HOSPITAL BATTICALOA, THE FOUNDATION WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MATERIAL ABD EQUIPMENT UNTIL THE PROPOSED NEW EMERGENCY & ACCIDENT UNIT IS CONSTRUCTED.

WHEN THE BUILDING IS COMPLETED, THE FOUNDATION ALONG WITH ROTARY ABD OTHER SUPPORT GROUPS WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, MATERIAL AND HOSPITAL MACHINERY TO ENHANCE THE HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN THAT REGION AND LATER IN OTHER REGIONAL AREAS OF SRI LANKA IS IMPROVED.
